ARTIST PROFILE: NETT DESIGNS

2013 has started with a bang! I am super excited to start a new collaboration with artists who love color and pattern. When I came across Jeanetta's work (and Pinterest) I knew she was definitely a big, bright and bold inspiration. When discussing the upcoming collaboration, Jeanetta - a graphic designer, art director, and pattern designer - graciously volunteered for the initial January launch of Big Bright Bold Calendar downloads. 

Working under her studio name, Nett Designs, Jeanetta Gonzales works as a freelance graphic designer and art director in Los Angeles. She provides her expertise in print, packaging, branding, textile and surface design and product development for industries such as consumer products and toys. This May she will be debuting her art licensing portfolio at the Surtex show in NYC where she will have her art available for licensing and selling for categories such as gift and tabletop items, textiles and paper products. Working in traditional and digital media she combines materials such as pen and ink, gouache and watercolor with digital illustration and hand-lettering to create her graphic, sketchy and textural style. She has also launched a new blog, in which she shares what inspires her, new work and news.
