CALIFORNIA BLACK AND WHITE
Although I am definitely a lover of color, I always appreciate glamorous black and white. This weekend's gray weather was the perfect backdrop for visiting my Leslie and Jordan's downtown Los Angeles loft. Just as cloudy skies are unusual for sunny Los Angeles, industrial loft living is a recent trend that is quickly picking up momentum. The Barker Block loft had expansive views of industrial Los Angeles, and a gorgeous interior of well chosen furniture. Ghost chairs juxtaposed against Hollywood regency patterns and lux shag rugs, as incredibly cute cats posed for my camera. I had such an inspired visit, enjoying the couple's gracious company and learning about the creative process for decorating their new space.

I am happy to start a new feature on BigBrightBold: Desktop Art Downloads. Now that I have finally set up a painting studio in my sunny window nook, I am super inspired to paint. I have been producing a lot of new art, and thought I would share some of the process.
I thought it would be fun to share some of my week's paintings and mixed media pieces as downloadable Desktop or iPad wallpapers. I hope you enjoy!
