I have been eyeing vintage Palm Beach fashions lately, especially Lilly Pulitzer inspired patterns. I especially love this glam "mumu" lounging caftan! So chic!

CIRQUE DU SOLEIL IRIS

Wow! What a show!

My friend was in town visiting and treated us to seeing Cirque du Soleil's IRIS. It's fun being a tourist in my own city, and since I never go to Hollywood and Highland, we had quite the adventure! The show was an incredible spectacle. The theme centers on "the World of Cinema" reinterpreting early shadow puppets, film strips and backlots. 

According to Cirque Du Soleil, "IRIS offers a new take on the art of cinema as only Cirque du Soleil could imagine it. IRIS is an inventive spectacle that combines acrobatics, dance, projections and live music. It takes the audience on a mesmerizing journey that blurs boundaries between live performance and moving images. IRIS explores the different techniques of cinema, as it evolves from black and white to colour in a world of shadows and light."

ZANDRA RHODES: FASHION FRIDAY

Today was a fun day of vintage thrift store shopping...Some of the colorful finds reminded me of one of my favorite designers, Zandra Rhodes. We saw the show last year in San Diego and it was such an inspiring discovery. The colors and patterns on the textiles are truly groundbreaking and super wild!
