What a magical 4th of July! Catalina is such a short trip from LA, yet a long way away in spirit. I felt like on an Italian Riviera island..enjoying the sun and the surf.

These Art Deco murals on Catalina's famed Casino are incredible! I love the painted sea life scenes depicting octopus tentacles, corals and seaweed in such glamorous fashion.
