LIVE WHAT YOU LOVE

This has been quite the week of self reflection. It's great to take a short time-out from a hectic work schedule and think about the next steps for one's career and one's passion. I launched this blog almost a year ago, and it has been an incredibly inspiring playground for developing my interests in photography, styling, and design. It has also been a richly rewarding opportunity to meet shop owners, visit artist studios and showcase what I find big bright or bold to the world. While traveling in San Francisco this week, I have met an especially awesome group of shop owners and artists, with today's visit to 3 Fish Studios being a truly warm welcome.

I have often been asked what the common thread of the blog is. It's not a typical graphic design blog, fashion blog, foodie blog, or even lifestyle blog. And, so I have tried to tighten up the focus and my goals. BigBrightBold has always portrayed the Colorful Life and it will continue to focus on the vibrant California Lifestyle. The sky (and the art) is bigger, brighter and, yes, bolder here.

I have tons of new ideas, so stay tuned for upcoming 2013 inspiration. I am lucky to be living what I love, and I hope to keep growing in my creative pursuits. I hope you all come along for the ride!
