3 times a week

As I hit the 2 year mark for BigBrightBold I wanted to take a few moments to thank all my loyal readers, old and new. Writing and photographing on this blog is definitely a labor of love, and I enjoy all of it! I love photographing the stores, meeting the creatives and documenting all the  big, bright, and bold inspiration.

But, the days seem to be getting shorter with all the projects I am trying to juggle. What should be fun, sometimes becomes another late night task. No longer a labor of love, it becomes just labor. And, that was never my intention in starting this creative outlet. My responsibilities as Art Director of Postmark have grown, and I don't have enough time to dedicate to my own art. So, as one of my main New Year resolutions, I will dedicate more time to making. This means I will have to cut back on the blog to three days a week. I still have tons of fun posts planned, but now plan to write and post on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If inspiration strikes, I might post a bit more. But, I definitely want to keep everything fresh and fun. Fewer, but better, will be the goal. So, although I am definitely not a minimalist, less (maybe, just maybe) can be more. More time for doing, more time for painting. More time for friends, and more time for yoga. Here's to a 2014 filled with more!
