COLLAGE WITH CARIS: PROCESS

Collage is a tricky art. It all comes down to getting inspired by the right images and creating fun juxtaposition of cut out paper. Saturday's workshop Collage with Caris was the perfect way to dip our toes into the world of collage.

Caris brought a colorful collection of vintage ephemera, and all we have to do was look through the piles and select our favorites. Somehow I ended up choosing a bunch of vintage flowers, women, butterflies and landscapes to start my pieces. Not sure what that says about me, but it was fun pairing flowers and ladies into magical, if strange, new worlds.
