What a charming town! I couldn't get enough of the blue and white streets, the artisan handicrafts hanging on every wall, and the picturesque seaside setting. According to our our guide, Essaouira was a hippy haven in the 60s, which might have explained these hand knit beanies, the only ones we saw in Morocco!

Blue and White looks even better striped. These stalls selling orange juice on the edge of ramparts looked so refreshing! What a perfect break for our afternoon stroll!
