MARRAKECH: CROWN JEWEL

Enough of the blue period! Although Essaoira was a welcome retreat, the last city on our trip - Marrakech - was definitely the crown jewel. From the bustling souks and beautiful handicrafts to the decadently ornate hotels the city far far exceeded my hopes. I fell in love. It was more magical and more beautiful than I ever imagined. This week I will share the most beautiful moments: from the rose colored alleys and ornate door ornaments, to the colorful souk stalls with unique artisan goods. 

SAGUARO: HOLIDAY WEEKEND

Although I just came from a vacation, Memorial Day is coming up...Truthfully, I don't need an excuse to enjoy a place with bright yellow walls! One of these weekends, we must schedule a Palm Springs excursion. The newly opened Saguaro will be the hot place to stay!

Here's to a relaxing and rainbow filled weekend! 

TARGET: PRIVET PATTERNS

The Privet Collection from Target has a definite Morocco meets Cape Cod vibe!

The Privet House for Target collection includes everything from pouf-style rope ottomans to plates, glasses, trays, and bowls featuring charming Boho-chic patterns (from a Chinese-inspired geometric pattern involving conjoined manji symbols to lush floral illustrations and  ’70s, Palm Beach-esque prints). The collection’s offerings feel like they were picked up from bazaars all over the world. While the tableware includes some Asian motifs, for example, straw baskets and ottomans add a Moroccan vibe to the full spectrum of goods. The color palette — which focuses on warm coral red, lime green, neutral tan, sand, and beige tones, white, black, and jade green — adds a retro feel to the collection.

A great graphic can go a long way in changing the energy of a space. From subtle, calming colors to bright, bold hues, everything in this collection is patterned to perfection.

KREME: PINK & GOLD

Not quite Moroccan, but I came across this Kreme wallpaper on my neverending search to decorate my home office. I love the gold folk pattern! And, it happens to be on sale through Joss&Main. According to Kreme, "The eye-catching California Birds Wallpaper dazzles the senses and creates a stunning accent wall with ‘70s retro-California flair." Pink & Gold: what could be better?
