TRINA TURK: BEACH VIBE

Every time we visit Palm Springs, the Palm Canyon Trina Turk boutique is always on of the first stops. Fortified by the delicious date shake, we stoped by the shop and were impressed with all the new arrivals.

The new renovation of the boutique definitely evokes an elevated, casual SoCal style. I love the pops of color that brighten up the natural wood walls, from neon planters to woven fabric art hangings. The floor tiles feel beachy and cool, and the displays juxtapose fun and sophisticated elements.

TRINA TURK: MEN'S SUMMER

Set against the colorful home goods, the introduction of the Mr. Turk Line at the Palm Springs delivers quite the bold pop of style. I love the racks of men's sports jackets, covered in huge blooms and contrasting patterns. I can deifnitely imagine a swanky Palm Springs pool party with dapper men donning these blazing jackets.

TRINA TURK: TEXTILE ARTS

Wow, these gorgeous textile  wall hangings were my favorite pieces from the Trina Turk Store. Texture is everywhere right now, and these neutral with a neon pop textile weavings are a great contrast the colorful sculptural home goods.

TRINA TURK: PALM SPRINGS

Spring is in full effect in Palm Springs, and despite the overcast LA skies, we were pleasantly welcomed with balmy 90 degree weather. Our first stop in town was the ever colorful Trina Turk Boutique. The shop never disappoints, and I loved seeing all the new wares.

THE ACE

The Ace Hotel in Palm Springs is definitely a must see, even if you don't stay there. The quieter and calmer Horizon Hotel is more my style, but the Hipster haven Ace is always a fun stop for a drink. The reception lobby had a fun textile art window display, and the restaurant evoked a cool, rat pack vibe, with its stone walls and angled ceilings. The design is organic and bohemian. And, who doesn't love a large metal ACE sign in front?
