Whenever I find myself in downtown, I always make sure to visit Poketo and grab a sausage across the street at Wurstkuche. This is the second time I am featuring Poketo on my blog (see previous posts here and here) but I can't get enough of the cool gifts, accessories, and awesome layout of the shop. According to their bio, "Poketo is an online destination and brick and mortar shop for design-driven wares that take art off the gallery walls and into people’s lives." Definitely lives up to the hype!

Wow, living in Los Angeles, I sometimes forget to take advantage of the ocean a few blocks from my house. As my yoga instructor marveled this morning, we live in such a beautiful place that people from all around the world come to visit. So, next time I get annoyed at the throngs of tourists clogging Lincoln Boulevard, I should appreciate that everyone is coming to see what I live next to year round. Yes, the summer days are getting shorter. So, no time like the present to take a walk on the beach and enjoy a sunset.
