NEST: FRENCH STYLE

My weekend excusion to San Francisco seems so long ago, but wanted to share a few photos from one of my favorite stops. Fillmore is a great neighborhood to go for a stroll. The hip street is brimming with boutiques, all catering to a variety of styles and tastes.

Nest showcases an impeccable selection of French imports and antiques plus women's clothing and children's toys. A nest indeed, and surely a great place for buying gifts for self or indulging others.

POSTMARK: FLOWER POP

I have recently joined the super talented team at Evite Postmark, as the new Art Director. We have been feverishly working on upcoming collections, and are excited to present the Flower Pop designs. They are definitely bright and bold, perfect for Spring in Los Angeles.

Flower Pop showcases a mix of bold blooms and vibrant stripes. The designs were inspired by the works of Warhol (pop art era), the floral themes of spring, and bright colors. Adding in stripes helped balance and complement the beautiful artwork with a classic, yet modern flare. We approached the color palette with louder than usual pastels and kept the hues on the brighter side of the spectrum.

This collection signifies not only a new beginning, but also features a new design technique (photographic image overlays / silkscreen effect) that we'll be exploring further as the year progresses.
