STUDIO: PUERTo 27 IDENTITY

I am super excited to present another recent completed identity project. This identity system involved a logo, pattern design + menu design for Puerto 27, a modern Peruvian Seafood restaurant opening Spring 2013 in Pacifica, California. Working with Chef Jose Calvo-Perez, I  created a modern pattern of fish and waves to use on all the identity materials. We also collaborated on the identity materials for Pasion, his modern Pervian tapas restaurant. 

HUNTINGTON: WINTER WHITES

Sometimes the white flowers are the boldest. All of the magnolias at the Huntington were in full bloom. I love the contrast of green and white. 

SHADES OF PINK

Since a certain holiday is coming up..a holiday that involves pretty flowers, we decided to head to the Huntington. The Huntington Gardens are definitely one of my favorite spots in LA. Even in the dead of winter, I love to visit the succulent garden and scope out all the sculptural cacti. This time, spring was already blossoming and we were treated to a gorgeous display of camellia and magnolia blooms! Such rich colors: from the palest pinks to the most vibrant magentas, the florals were the perfect models for my new lens. What a day!

TRENDWATCH: NEON DIPPED

Neon has been totally hot lately, and these neon dipped bowls are the perfect amount of neon and texture. Each item has been hand dipped by the artist. Their beauty lies in organic lines and natural movement.
