Today, and for the rest of the week, I am excited to share the beautiful, and insanely inspiring studio and products of Barrington Blue. I met Carrie, the founder and creative mind behind the shop, at last year's Rose Bowl. She was selling gorgeous one-of-a-kind pillows designed and fabricated by her in Los Angeles. The pillows were sourced from unique global textiles and loaded with vibrant patterns. See the original post here.
I reached out to Carrie to help turn my favorite Moroccan rug into a few pillows (more on that process, next week!) and I got the chance to visit her new space when we were coordinating the design. The Los Angeles studio is brimming with textiles, shelves full of colorful inspiration from around the world. From Bolivian blankets to African Mudcloths, Carrie imports and transforms incredible pieces into even more incredible, usable products. She has a keen eye for combining global finds and having them work in a modern home. Be sure to check out her online shop here and come back tomorrow for more views into Carrie's vibrant wares.
